Polopalo Festival

The Polopalo musical instrument is a musical instrument whose basic material is made of bamboo, its shape resembles a giant tuning fork and the technique of playing it is by hitting it on the knee.

In its development, Polopalo got improvements in several things, one of which is now Polopalo is made of a rubber-coated wooden bat to make it easier and help in the process of playing the Polopalo musical instrument. This has the effect of not hurting the part of the body that is hit, it also makes the Polopalo sound louder.

The Polopalo Festival is a festival that features the attraction of Polopalo musical instruments. The Polopalo Festival is held in Bone Bolango Regency. The Polopalo Cultural Festival is held with a variety of interesting cultural activities. The Polopalo Festival contains cultural dialogue, cultural performances, and Polopalo competitions.
