The Minister of National Development Planning/Head of BAPPENAS visited the Olele site, one of the Gorontalo Geopark sites. The Minister of National Development Planning/Head of BAPPENAS of the Republic of Indonesia, Suharso Monoarfa accompanied by the Governor of Gorontalo and the Regent of Bone Bolango boarded a catamaran. The journey starts from the shores of Olele Beach. There are 15 diving spots that will be passed by the group. Without having to go directly to the seabed, the Minister of PPN/Head of BAPPENAS and his entourage only needed to see the underwater beauty through the glass at the bottom of the catamaran.

The Olele site is one of the Gorontalo Geopark sites. The Olele site has a limestone geosite and an Olele marine park biosite. Suharso hopes that the Olele site will continue to be kept clean. Suharso also declared the Olele site area as a health protocol aware tourism. The declaration was marked by the handing over of hand sanitizer, masks and face shields to the Olele tourism management community.
