Empowerment of women is an important strategy to increase the role of women. Empowering women can increase women's potential to be independent and work.

Increasing the role of women can be done in efforts to conserve nature, culture and improve the economy. The more women involved in the management of natural resources, cultural, and economic, the more implications for the development of the Gorontalo Geopark.
