Strongly deformed volcanic igneous rock. Generally an andesite lava, hypocrystalline with a predominance of medium-fine fan-sized hornblende-plagioclase minerals embedded in a glassy basement. Also present are diorite and andesite fractures that have undergone curling and faulting. Furthermore, there is also the presence of alteration minerals due to hydrothermal alteration activity at this location.

The coastal cliffs are composed of volcanic rocks and uplifted by tectonic processes.
