Botubarani Limestone is a coastal limestone outcrop of high geological value that represents ancient shallow-marine carbonate formations and forms part of the Gorontalo Geopark. Located in Botubarani Village, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency, the site lies along the northern coast of Gorontalo and is approximately 20 kilometers east of Gorontalo City, making it easily accessible by road. The limestone exposure not only records the geological history of a former marine environment that was uplifted over time, but also contributes to the area’s geotourism appeal, offering educational value while complementing the surrounding coastal and marine attractions.
